SCREEN DOORS
Don’t Leave Home without It
by ICWare

How do you leave your door open to a pig?

It can be said in many ways like…be wise as serpents but harmless as doves, but how can we and why should we?

We don’t continue giving precious pearls to someone who continues to squander their life away with no desire to change, whether it be money, your heart, your real time, your thought time or any of your precious pearls of wisdom (originally gotten from God’s Word which represents God’s wisdom).

We accomplish the Door always open by the Screen Door remaining locked tight so if that person or any person returns wishing to be in your good graces again (and it must not be allowed until ample time to correct the deepseeded error), you can filter everything said through your Screen Door. God can show you deceit through charm or charismatic ways. It’s okay with God to forgive if it’s genuine change God shows, but after you’ve done that wish the person Godspeed, shut the door and lock it again. Forgiveness, yes. Allowing them back in your life? Many times, not. It is possible to love people from afar but not entertain them in your home.

One reason you leave a Door open and the Screen Door locked is also for yourself…SO YOU DON’T ALLOW BITTERNESS TO TAKE ROOT. Because bitterness once taken root will spread it’s roots into all areas of your mind/life, poisoning and affecting other relationships.

The Screen Door helps your mind remain Harmless as a Dove. Don’t just be dovelike only…you’ll be right back where you were. Don’t superglue the door shut forever…you will unknowingly shut others out also.

“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”
Matthew 7:6 NASB

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
Matthew 10:16 KJV
